One Michelin Star Italian Restaurant in LA--Osteria Mozza
🧀 Smoked Mozzarella di Bufala It feels like a simple combination of ordinary ham with mozzarella cheese. Both ingredients are quite basic, but the most impressive part is the accompanying bread. The crust is pan-fried to a perfect crisp, while the interior of the bread is soft and fluffy. It pairs exceptionally well with the ham and cheese, although the bread is a bit oily, haha. 🐙 Grilled Octopus The octopus legs are grilled to a very tender and soft texture, almost melting in your mouth. However, I personally prefer a chewier texture. 🍝 Tagliatelle Tomato sauce with oxtail paired with tagliatelle. The tagliatelle here is really similar to red oil noodle sheets. 🐑 Pappardelle This is lamb with pappardelle. The amount of lamb is much more generous compared to the oxtail. 🐂 Grilled 8oz. Beef tagliata It's an Italian-style steak, which is quite different from an American steak. The beef seems to be marinated with balsamic vinegar or black vinegar, olive oil, and rosemary beforehand. The taste of the beef is sour and sweet. 🚩Osteria Mozza 6602 Melrose Ave Los Angeles, CA 90038 #Osteria Mozza# Los Angeles# food diary #Michelin
