One of California’s Hottest Brunch Spots 🍳 | From NorCal to SoCal!
When it comes to iconic brunch spots in the Bay Area, Sweet Maple definitely tops the list! 🍁 They’re only open from morning to afternoon and don’t take reservations — so expect a line out the door. I’ve always wanted to visit their original SF location, but it’s just too far. This time, I hit up their Cupertino branch instead. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor wait was over an hour, so we chose outdoors and still waited about 20 minutes. I didn’t have super high expectations — but wow, was I impressed! 🍖 Millionaire’s Bacon 🥓 Their famous thick-cut bacon — fried until fragrant and not overly greasy. I got it with spicy sauce (and it had a real kick!). I usually don’t love bacon, but I finished the whole slice! 🍗 Chicken & Waffles 🧇 The waffle is made from croissant dough pressed into a waffle iron — SO buttery and flaky! The fried chicken was juicy and not dry at all. Great portion too. 🌽 Fried Corn I always order fried corn when I see it — and this did NOT disappoint! 🍆 Eggplant Side Pretty ordinary — you can skip this. 🍛 Korean Short Rib Omelette Rice 🍳 Visually stunning! The sauce was on the sweeter side, and the meat was flavorful (though not a huge portion). The rice was simple, but the dish was still addictive. 🍹 Cocktails A bit light — more fruity than boozy. 🇹🇭 The restaurant feels Thai-influenced — the menu has subtle Southeast Asian vibes. 📍 Sweet Maple – Cupertino 20010 Stevens Creek Blvd, Cupertino, CA 95014 This popular chain has 3 locations in NorCal and 2 in SoCal. Afterward, I grabbed a strong oolong tea from nearby TP Tea 🧋 — highly recommend! #SweetMaple #CaliforniaBrunch #MillionairesBacon #ChickenAndWaffles #BayAreaEats
