Only $4 on average! LA’s New Yakitori Spot · Torikizoku 🤤

Torikizoku 📍 21839 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503 Vibe is super Japanese ✨ Weekend dinner lines can get long—waited behind over ten groups—but turnover is pretty quick! Open kitchen where you can watch the chef grilling skewers right in front of you 🔥🍢 Menu highlights: They recently added sashimi! The menu isn’t huge, but everything is priced between $4–8 💸 🥗 Toriki Salad Fried onion and chicken skin salad—decent but skippable. 🐟 Aji Fry Fried mackerel—SO GOOD! Bones removed, tender inside, crispy outside. Highly recommend! 🥔 Curry Potato Salad First time trying curry-flavored potato salad! Mixed with tuna and celery, served with crackers. Tasty but can get a bit rich after a while. 🍗 Torikiawa Ponzu Japanese-style fried chicken skin—honest review: Chinese grilled chicken skin still wins for me 😅 Yakitori we tried: Scallop Skirt beef Chicken thigh with green onions Chicken wings Meat portions are generous and great value for money! The chef’s grilling skills are on point 👌 Only downside: skewers are served all at once, so they can get cold if you eat slowly… Next time, definitely trying their sake! 🍶💖 #LALife #LAFood #LADining #FoodDiary #Yakitori #JapaneseFood #TorranceEats #BudgetEats
