π§ Delicious Afternoon Tea in LA π Iβve always been an afternoon tea lover back in China, but since moving to the US, itβs been hard to find spots that suit Asian tastes β until I discovered this hidden gem! π π‘ Ambience: A small shop in Orange County Tucked inside an unassuming little mall in a Vietnamese neighborhood β I almost thought I had the wrong place while driving there! Once inside, I spotted a crowd of beautifully dressed girls and knew I was in the right spot π―ββοΈβ¨ They have tables both outside and inside (recommend securing a seat before ordering β it gets busy!). The staff are super soft-spoken and incredibly kind β service is top-notch! π π° Desserts: The pastry chef trained in Japan, so the sweets are perfectly suited to Asian palates (no American-level sugar overload here!). The cake selection changes daily β no fixed menu. I randomly picked a mango cake and a tiramisu β both were delicious! Felt like I was transported back to afternoon tea days back home π₯π° πΉ Drinks: I tried a mango drink and a purple sweet potato latte β one was a bit tart, the other a bit sweet. Nothing mind-blowing, but decent. β οΈ Downside: Both drinks and cakes are a bit pricey πΈ But given how delicate and tasty the cakes are, Iβll definitely be back!
