Oregon is truly a paradise on earth! ๐ŸŒ„Mt. Hood Travel Guide

Mt. Hood, the highest peak in Oregon and a dormant active volcano, is also said to be the American mountain that most resembles Mount Fuji. It's definitely an underrated and must-visit attraction in Oregon! There are also many farms, waterfalls, and lakes nearby. ๐Ÿ : I recommend staying in the nearby town of Government Camp. There are many affordable hotels and cabins. Glorious Mt Hood Condo is recommended. Cheaper options can be considered on Airbnb, as many locals rent out rooms. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Trillium Lake: You can see the beautiful scenery like in photo 1โƒฃ๏ธ without walking a trail by just pulling over your car. It now costs $5 to enter, so make sure to have cash ready. Both sunrise and sunset are stunning. Come early in the morning to see the reflection of the mountain in the lake. โš ๏ธ Next to the lake, you can rent kayaks or swim. I recommend coming in the afternoon for better lighting for photos. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Mirror Lake: The mountain and lake scenery is very beautiful, but it requires a 3.6-mile trail to reach. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Visit Timberline Lodge, this hotel built in 1937 is at the foot of the mountain. You can see photo 4โƒฃ๏ธ from the parking lot. There's a shop inside the hotel where you can buy souvenirs, and there are also benches outside where you can lie down and enjoy the view of the mountain. ๐Ÿ‘‰ The popular Hood River Lavender Farm, come in July to pick lavender, with the mountain as a backdrop. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Starting from Timberline Lodge, there's a beautiful trail called Paradise Park Loop, totaling 12.4 miles. ๐Ÿ‘‰ I recommend the Tamanawas Falls Trail: A very famous waterfall trail, total length 3.6 miles. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Mt. Hood Meadows Waterfalls, just 0.2 miles from the parking lot is Umbrella falls, and about 1.3 miles further is Sahalie falls. #Oregon #Portland #PortlandTravel #OregonTravel #AmericanTravel #Travel #RoadTrip #USAroadtrip #AmericanRoadTrip #TravelGuide #WeekendGetaway #NoteInspiration #AmericanTravel #TravelGuideShare #MyTravelShare #AmericanStudents #Summer #OutdoorHiking #Outdoor #Mountain #Waterfall #TravelMoments #TravelWithXiaohongshu #LocalTravel
