Akihisa Hirata | Ota City Museum of Art & Library π π‘β¨ This project is located in front of the station in Ota City, Gunma Prefecture, Japan. π It is a cultural exchange facility that combines an art museum and a library. The core concept of the project is to create a cultural destination, revitalizing the previously abandoned station area and attracting people back to the site. π‘β¨ π‘β¨ Another key goal of the design is to connect the interior of the building with the town, creating a relaxed and welcoming space where people can visit and linger comfortably. πΏ Akihisa Hirata , a Japanese architect born in 1971 in the Kansai region of central-western Japan, graduated from Kyoto University in 1997 and then joined Toyo Ito & Associates. π‘β¨He has been praised by Toyo Ito as "the most energetic emerging architect in Japan." ποΈ #AkihisaHirata πΏ #OtaCityMuseum π¨#Architecture ποΈ #CulturalDestination π #LibraryLife π
