Pack Your Picnic Basket & Head to Brea’s Carbon Canyon Park
The Vibe is So Alive! 🌿🦆✨ Finally—a picture-perfect sunny weekend in LA! There’s nothing like a spring day spent grilling and picnicking at your favorite park. Carbon Canyon Regional Park is not only beautiful but also teeming with nature 🌳🌊. With a peaceful lake, friendly ducks, and endless green views, it’s the perfect spot for both kids and adults to relax and enjoy the whole day! 📍 Carbon Canyon Regional Park Entry fee: 3 on weekdays, 5 on weekends. Park in Lot D (turn left after entering) for easy access to both the open lawns and the playgrounds. ⚠️ Pro Tip: The shaded picnic areas and tables near the lake and playground are in high demand—arrive early to snag one! Party areas can be reserved in advance (for a fee), but for casual picnics, we recommend bringing your own chairs, blankets, or a mat. Try to arrive by 11 AM for the best spots! We brought our portable grill and cooked up some delicious lamb chops and shrimp 🍖🍤. Shoutout to Costco for their amazing quality lamb—so tender and flavorful, even better than skewers! The park has multiple playgrounds, so bring your friends, relax under the sun, and let the kids run wild. Ours played all day and still didn’t want to leave! #SunnyAfternoon #WeekendVibes #WeekendGetaway #SpringBreeze #Picnic #LAKids #RowlandHeights #LAParks #LosAngeles #SpringOuting #NatureEscape #FamilyTime #OutdoorFun #DuckFeeding #GrillingDay
