Pasadena’s Super Delicious & Refined East-West Fusion Restaurant
Today, I met up with friends from the music industry and chose the small but lovely Bone Kettle in Pasadena. It’s described as Southeast Asian creative cuisine, but it feels like a perfect blend of East and West. The interior decor is great for a date night, and sitting outside on a nice day like today was really comfortable. Every dish we ordered was delicious — desserts and cocktails are full of creativity but never overdone. Highly recommend the garlic prawns — large, crispy, fragrant, and you can eat them shell and all!😍💕 The fried chicken wings and Brussels sprouts were also amazing. The dumplings recommended by our server had a soft texture — might not be for everyone, but they were very aromatic. For dessert, the ube cheesecake was unique and tasty, though on the sweeter side.😘🙌 Not as impressed with the chicken satay — compared to the other dishes, it was just okay. A safe choice, but nothing special.👌❤️ Next time, I’d like to try their eggplant and cauliflower dishes. Also, their cocktails are really well-made — today I had the passionfruit mojito, which was light and refreshing. Would love to try the cucumber mule next time! Overall, this is a place I’ll definitely revisit. If you get the chance, you should give it a try! #PasadenaEats #LAFood #LosAngeles #LAEats #LALife #LAExploration 🍤🍹✨
