Pasadena|Spanish Restaurant Dos Besos

We originally walked into another restaurant, but with a 50-minute wait and after driving 3 hours in traffic to Pasadena (starving, by the way 😩), we refused to wait any longer. Searched nearby and found Dos Besos. The owner was super nice—a petite woman who, despite us not having a reservation, still managed to seat us outside next to the fire pit. 🪵🔥 Her husband, the chef, is from Barcelona, Spain—and the food tasted truly authentic! We ordered 4 dishes, and all were delicious—no regrets! 🥘✨ 1️⃣ Mushrooms in Truffle Cream A rich and creamy truffle mushroom soup. Dipping bread into the thick sauce with hearty mushroom slices—so flavorful and comforting! (Highly recommend 🍄) 2️⃣ Spanish Cheese Platter Served with two dipping sauces, assorted fruits, and nuts. A must-try for cheese lovers! 🧀🍇 3️⃣ Grilled Lamb Chops Tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly! Served with soft green beans and deliciously roasted baby potatoes. Definitely recommend! 🐑💚 4️⃣ Seafood Paella Takes about 35 minutes, but totally worth the wait! Packed with shrimp, mussels, and squid 🦑. A squeeze of lemon over the socarrat-style rice soaked in flavorful broth—so good we finished the whole pan between two of us! 🥘😋 📍 Address: 99 Union St, Pasadena, CA 91103 🅿️ Limited street parking nearby, but there’s a parking garage just across the intersection. We were too full for dessert 🍮—has anyone tried theirs? Feel free to share! #LAFood #LosAngelesEats #PasadenaFood #SpanishFood #DosBesos #FoodieReview #MustTry
