Pasadena Cozy Wine Bar – A Little Tipsy Happiness
First, the verdict: Their Charcuterie Board ranks in my Top 3 in LA ✨ This place is super low-key — my first time visiting, I thought I’d walked into an import grocery store. Right at the entrance, you’ll see cheeses, cured meats, and pasta for retail. The seating inside is pretty limited. We ordered the Cheese Board for dine-in — you can upgrade with truffle or extra cheese, but even the regular version is delicious. They use seasonal cheeses and meats, and tonight’s recommendation was Pork Rillettes. Mind-blowing! I actually looked it up — it’s a spreadable meat paste, but the texture is somewhere between pork floss and jerky… super drink-friendly 🍷. The waiter was cute and knew his wine! For by-the-glass, he recommended Syrah — totally changed my idea of Syrah being heavy. After it opened up, it had amazing berry notes. Another standout was the Duck Ragu Pasta — handmade rigatoni, so chewy and satisfying. The Chicken Liver Mousse Éclair was delicious too — only downside was the portion. $10 for just one piece 😅. A lazy weekend afternoon or a relaxed evening, with a glass of wine and a cheese board, can pretty much make my whole day. Hope you can enjoy that same simple, cozy bliss. 📍 40 West Green St, Pasadena, CA #LAFood #LosAngelesEats #Wine #WineBar #Pasadena #HiddenGem #SimplePleasures 🧀
