🍇🍇 Paso Robles | Sip Wine, Walk the Dog 🐕🍷

Spent the weekend in Paso Robles—a charming wine-focused town about a four-hour drive from LA. Since we brought our dog, Paz, we specifically chose a pet-friendly winery: Booker Vineyard. The staff was super welcoming to dogs—they even brought out a water bowl for Paz right away! 🥰💧 We also met two other dogs there, plus the resident Bernese Mountain Dog. The space was nicely spread out, so dogs weren’t seated too close to each other. The outdoor area was cozy too—a bit windy that day, but the fire pits kept us warm. 🔥🌿 The staff gave very detailed introductions—not just about the wines, but also shared fun facts. My top recommendation is their Fracture—100% Syrah. I loved its dry, tannic texture paired with rich fruit notes—so smooth, I ended up buying three bottles! 🥹🍇 Paso Robles downtown is also super dog-friendly—many shops have water bowls outside. There’s a park in the center with a playground and a big grassy field—perfect for a stroll. We even met a local gentleman walking his dog there—he highly recommended Eberle Winery, one of the oldest in the area and also pet-friendly. Unfortunately, we had to head back to LA and didn’t have time to visit… next time! 🥹 We stayed at The Oxford Hotel (pet fee: +$50/night). Great location, and oh my—the beds were incredibly comfortable! 😴💤 I kept reminding myself to check the mattress brand before leaving, but we overslept and rushed off without checking… 🥲 Do you travel with your pup?
