🦚 Peacocks at Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden 🌿🌼

Have you ever been greeted by a peacock at the entrance of a garden? Well, I have—and it was absolutely magical! ✨ Today I visited the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden located in Arcadia, and wow—why did I not come here sooner?! I’ve even lived nearby in Temple City and had no idea this hidden gem was right next to the Santa Anita Mall. It’s the perfect escape from the city without actually leaving LA. 🏙️➡️🌳 The arboretum is enormous—filled with serene lakes, lush gardens, historic buildings, and countless species of plants from all over the world. It’s a paradise for nature lovers, photographers, or anyone who just wants to take a peaceful stroll. 🌅📸 And the peacocks—oh my goodness! They roam freely throughout the garden, often right near the entrance. You can get up close (but please be respectful!) and watch them show off their stunning feathers. Fun fact: Their calls kinda sound like cats meowing! 🦚😸🐾 Whether you're into botany, bird-watching, or just being in a beautiful space, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend coming early in the morning or on a weekday to avoid crowds.
