Perfect LA Weekend Getaway - Malibu Hiking πποΈ
Taking advantage of the beautiful Labor Day weather, I headed to Malibu for some ocean views, hiking, and food exploration! π Another day healed by Malibu's azure waves and delicious lobster rolls! π¦β¨ Sharing this perfect day/half-day itinerary below β LA friends, feel free to copy my homework! π π Hiking Spot: Point Dume Drove from Santa Monica, took the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) all the way to Point Dume β you can see the ocean along the entire drive! π Parking π ΏοΈ: 7103 Westward Beach Rd, Malibu, CA 90265 (Paid $15, a bit pricey but it was a holiday and street parking was impossible! π ) The trail is very low difficulty, super beginner-friendly. A leisurely walk takes about an hour. You get elevated views to better appreciate the beauty of Malibu Beach! πΈ What's your favorite beach for hiking? π Delicious Food π¦π¦: Broad Street Oyster Company (23359 Pacific Coast Hwy #3874A, Malibu, CA 90265) After hiking, it's about a 15-minute drive to this famous lobster roll spot. Several plazas nearby make parking easy. Didn't have high hopes for a viral spot, but since we were there... we braved the line in the sun! π Maybe because we were hungry, but it was seriously DELICIOUS!! The lobster meat was so substantial. We tried two styles: warm butter and chilled mayo β one hot, one cold, each unique and both highly recommended! π€€ Have you tried their lobster rolls? Which flavor do you prefer? π Malibu Village Mall π Malibu Country Mart After eating, you can stroll and shop around this area. The block is quite chic with a very chill vibe β lots of dogs and kids playing around. ππΆ Besides Free People, Lululemon, Sephora, and Urban Outfitters, there are some lovely boutiques to explore.
