Perth, Western Australia 6D5N Free & Easy Travel Guide ‼️🦘
Days 3 and 4 are all about road-tripping to the outskirts! Our route was straightforward — check the drive times in the photo guide~ 🏜️ First stop: Lancelin Sand Dunes My friend and I were too lazy to try sandboarding 😂—you have to carry your own board all the way up the dune! We skipped it 'cause it sounded exhausting, but other travellers said it was super fun (though you’ll get completely covered in sand!). 🪨 Second stop: The Pinnacles I wasn’t expecting much from photos, but seeing it in person totally blew my mind! It looks like you’re on Mars 🪨👽. You have to see this! If you have a higher car, you can drive through. We had a small car, so we walked 🚶♀️… but it was worth it! 🍽️ Lunch: Cervantes Bar & Bistro 🥣 Listen, everyone—skip the overrated lobster factories and come HERE instead! This might be THE most worthwhile restaurant in all of WA 😭🙌. Huge portions, incredibly friendly staff (just like in American dramas!), and the chef even gave us extra bread 🥖. We only spent $60+ for two people — so affordable and honestly such good value 🥹. Plus, it was quiet and relaxing — no crowds! 🌿 🌅 Jurien Bay along the way The sunset here is unreal. Western Australia’s coastal views never get old. Watching the sunset by the sea truly cleanses your mind and soul 🌊💛. 🏨 Night 3: Nesuto Hotel in Geraldton We stayed here — you can park your car right under your room! Pretty unique 🚗💨. Reasonable price and a great stay overall 👍. 💖 Next day: Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake The highlight of the whole trip 🩷! Wear light-colored clothes — it looks better in photos 📷. Some parts are super pink, others need a bit of editing, but it’s still gorgeous~~ Better wear sandals — people say the salt can hurt if you have cuts on your feet 😂. 🚗💨 We skipped Natural Bridge and Nature’s Window because we were tired — driving back to the city from the pink lake takes 6 hours! But there’s always next time 😉. 🌌 On the way back: breathtaking pink skies The sunset was cotton-candy pink 🥹🩷. No wonder WA is called “God’s palette” 🎨. We even saw a sky full of stars — my phone couldn’t capture it though 😂. Next time, bringing a real camera! 📸 #PerthWA #PinkLakeWA #LancelinDunes #ThePinnacles #WesternAustraliaDiaries
