Perth Road Trip 🚗 Albany-Denmark Scenic Loop in Western Australia
Following the previous guide to Albany, we set off from the Wind Farm towards Denmark on the second day. I’ve marked the route we took on the map—this loop is perfect for a 2–3 day trip! The forest road from Denmark to Bunbury passed through many charming small towns, each with its own unique character 🏡🌲. If you have time, slow down and explore them—we stopped at one for dinner, and it was fantastic! The rest, we’ll save for next time 😊. 🌟 Highlights of the Trip 1️⃣ Green Pool & Elephant Rock Actually part of a trio of attractions (I forgot the name of the third beach 😅).The water at Green Pool is incredibly clear—perfect for swimming 🏊♀️.The smaller beach is great for fishing 🎣, while Elephant Rock is a rocky shoreline—sturdy shoes are a must!Walking along the rocks offers stunning ocean views 💙. 2️⃣ Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk A refreshing change from the coast—towering trees that two people can’t even wrap their arms around 🌳!Paid treetop walkway: High in the canopy, swaying gently in the wind—both thrilling and peaceful 😌.Free ground trail: Features unique sights like lightning-struck trees and hollow roots—but avoid touching them due to ancient fungi ⚠️.Said to be home to quokkas, but we didn’t spot any…next time, Rottnest Island! 🐭 3️⃣ Tall Timbers Manjimup This town has a 70m free slide (closes at 5:30 PM—next time! 🛝).The highly-rated restaurant requires reservations—even on holidays, we only got a corridor seat!Amazing dishes crafted by a creative chef—every bite was a delight 😋. 💡 Travel Tips The round trip is about 900 km—plan for breaks and enjoy the journey.Download offline maps—signal is weak in forest areas 📱.Pack swimwear, non-slip shoes, and a camera! 📸 #WesternAustralia #AlbanyToDenmark #RoadTripWA #CoastAndForest #ExploreAustralia
