Philadelphia: You Have to Try This Moroccan Restaurant!

🍴 Marrakesh ❤️ 517 S Leithgow St, Philadelphia, PA 🥙 A super romantic and exotic Moroccan restaurant. The restaurant is not very large, with only a few tables on the first floor. The lighting is dim, but the interior decoration is full of Moroccan atmosphere. The colored glass lamps and the tapestries on the walls make you feel like you're in another country. ✨Located in a small alley, the restaurant is actually converted from a house. It’s very popular, so I recommend calling ahead to make a reservation or showing up right when they open at 5:30 PM! ✨I found this place through online recommendations from fellow foodies. It serves authentic Moroccan cuisine! The entire restaurant is filled with a strong African vibe—it’s so unique! ✨They offer a fixed tasting menu with seven courses. You’ll start by choosing some meats, but don’t worry if you’re a vegetarian—they have plenty of options for you too! The meal is incredibly filling. I loved the roasted chicken—it was tender, flavorful, and so distinctive. Plus, there was a belly dance performance! It was so much fun! Including the tip, two people spent only $63. What a great deal! After the meal, the nearby street is also great for exploring. There are lots of cute cafés and little shops.😍 #HiddenGemRestaurant #PhiladelphiaFood #PhiladelphiaLife #MoroccanCuisine
