Philadelphia|A Highly Cost-Effective Restaurant with Major Star Power
After a week of takeout, finally went with classmates to check out this new spot~ Since we were working out at the school gym, we chose the closest French-style American bistro near campus 🏛️. Didn’t expect it to be so affordable, delicious, and with great ambiance—literally brought tears to my eyes after days of eating meh food 🥲. 📍 Louie Louie Recommended Dishes 👍 🌟 Smoked Salmon Rillettes Since I can’t eat raw fish, I had to “force” my friends to join me with smoked salmon 😅. The flavor was decent, but the toasted bread served with it was perfectly crispy 👌. A solid choice for an appetizer! 🌟 Wild Mushroom Angolotti Mushroom lovers, this one’s for you! These Italian-style pasta pockets are seriously delicious 🍄. The earthy mushroom taste blends perfectly with the cheese—I almost finished half the plate in minutes 😋. 🌟 Classic Steak An 8oz steak with the classic sidekick: fries 🍟. It might look simple, but guys—pay attention to that sauce! It’s absolutely magical ✨, tangy and sweet, perfectly cutting through the richness. A total crowd-pleaser and no-regrets choice 😝. We also ordered a salad and dessert to share among three people. The bill came out to just over $40 per person—unbeatable value! 💸 Louie’s atmosphere is great for small gatherings or romantic dates 💖. I highly recommend sitting outside if you can—not only can you catch a beautiful UPenn campus sunset 🌇, but there’s also plenty of eye candy passing by 👀😉. #PhillyEats #StudyAbroad #FoodExplorer #RestaurantReview #UPennLife #PhillyFoodie
