To celebrate my husband’s birthday, I did my homework and secretly booked Jean-Georges at the Four Seasons a month in advance! Located on the 60th floor, it offers breathtaking views over Philadelphia. Perfect for dates, anniversaries, or special occasions. 📝 Tip: Mention special requests when reserving — they prepared a delicious chocolate mousse birthday cake for us! Every server we met wished my husband a happy birthday, and they even complimentary a $49 appetizer per person! 🥂 The restaurant is a spacious, open-concept space with elegant decor — super photogenic! Our table faced west — though cloudy weather meant no sunset, the city night views were still stunning.💕😁 🍽️ Menu: Choose from à la carte or tasting menus. We picked the aptly named “From the Land and Sea” tasting menu. A fusion of modern French and Asian influences — each course was a unique flavor journey. Seven courses in total, truly taking you from ocean to land. 1️⃣ Cocktail 🍸 Must-try: Kiwi Margarita — so good it’s breathtaking! Sweet with a tangy twist, rimmed with salt, barely any alcohol taste. 2️⃣ Appetizer / Signature Sushi Three sushi pieces: crispy sea trout, jalapeño sauce with egg toast and caviar, and tuna “noodles” with tangy pickled radish. 3️⃣ Appetizer / Caviar with Lemon Jelly 🍋 Lemon jelly topped with caviar and fresh cream — well-balanced.
