Philadelphia | š„ This Indian Restaurant Is All You Need
š„¬In short, itās surprisingly good! A meat loverās dream come true. The Indian buffet lunch here is $14.95 per person, and dinner is $19.99 per person, with an additional curry goat option for dinner. The curry goat is hands down my favorite dish of the night! Itās tender, succulent, and absolutely deliciousāI could easily have three plates of just this. Other highlights include: Butter Chicken: Tender chunks of chicken soaked in a rich creamy tomato sauce. Itās delicious, and the chicken is very juicy. If I were here for lunch, this would definitely be my go-to dish. Saag Lamb: Smooth spinach mixed with cream and Indian spices. Itās not overly greasy and has a great flavor, though Iām not a huge fan of the ground lamb they use. Masala Paneer: This was my first time trying it, and it has a texture similar to tofu. The flavor is quite nice. Tandoori Chicken: The chicken is marinated in spices and then grilled, but itās a bit dry and just average. š„¬Masala Chickpea: Also very tasty! Naan: The naan bread is delicious! Fried Chicken Wings: The wings are on the smaller side and seem to have a hint of cilantro. Theyāre tasty. Salad Bar: Fresh lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and a variety of Indian sauces. Desserts: Rice pudding, chocolate pudding, Indian tea (which is really good!), and Gulab Jamunāa milk ball with a mix of spices soaked in syrup. The rich flavor is so intense that one sniff is enough to make you love it. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is very friendly. They offered to pack up the tea for me, but the table clearing could be a bit more timely. Overall, the experience was quite good! With delicious goat curry and naan, I was more than satisfied. š š New Delhi Indian Restaurant 4004 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19104 #India #IndianCuisine #GOAT #Curry
