Philadelphia 🇮🇳 Indian Buffet|Just $15 for Students 🎓
Following my dim sum buffet review, I’m officially kicking off my Philly buffet tour! As promised — here’s the Indian buffet review you’ve been waiting for! 🍛✨ 📍 New Delhi 4004 Chestnut Street Being an Indian buffet, of course I had to try everything! The restaurant thoughtfully labels each curry with its style, but there’s so much more to explore — I’ll leave some surprises for you 😉 Pair your curry with freshly baked, warm naan 🫓 — an absolute match made in heaven! My friend (whose husband is Indian) showed me the authentic way to eat: tear the naan, roll it into a little spoon 🥄, and scoop up the curry! Eating the curry with rice is also incredibly fragrant. Just a heads up: some curries are a bit spicy 🌶️ — check the labels if you’re sensitive to heat! Besides curries, there’s also a fresh 🥗 salad bar and a sweet 🍧 dessert section: Kheer (Indian rice pudding) — even tastier with a touch of fermented rice wine! Ice cream paired with chocolate pudding — a surprisingly delicious combo! ⚠️ Heads Up: • Grilled Chicken: Too dry and tough. Though marinated in yogurt and herbs, it wasn’t enjoyable. • Vegetable Roll & Fried Chicken: Quite salty, and the fried chicken texture was just okay. • Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes: Contains radish — avoid if you don’t like it. • Gulab Jamun (Honey Syrup Ball): Extremely sweet — even sweeter than typical American desserts! 😅 Students get 10% off — just $15 (pre-tax) to try a variety of curries! The restaurant is clean and well-kept, too. 🧹✨ As a true food lover sharing this purely for the joy of it, I’d really appreciate your likes and shares! ❤️ A Wagyu buffet review is coming soon — and feel free to comment with any restaurants you’d like me to try next! 🍴 #PhillyFood #PhillyBuffet #PhillyEats #PhillyFoodReview #PhillyFoodie #PhillyLife #IndianFood
