Philadelphia 2-Day Itinerary is Here!
First stop on my road trip back to California: Philadelphia! Just a quick recap of my trip. Philadelphia is perfect for casual City Walk snapshots—I didn’t take too many photos, but the downtown area felt super clean and tidy overall. It’s a modern city rich with history and culture (later I visited Old City too, and it was nothing like the "dangerous and chaotic" vibe I’d imagined—total surprise! 🤔). 📍 Mercer Museum (Wasteland-Style Museum) Every small room here displays 19th-20th century daily necessities collected and categorized by Mercer. It’s a bit similar to the Philadelphia Museum of Art (maybe?) but way more unconventional—not your typical art museum. The industrial, retro vibe makes it really unique! 🔧 📍 Hellerick’s Adventure Farm It’s about a 15-minute drive from Mercer Museum—I decided to go on a whim! The farm offers over 60 fun activities, though most are geared toward parent-kid trips (like a pile of tires where you can race to see who runs fastest… 🚜). There’s a huge sunflower field too! The elderly farmer drives everyone out to the field for a tour and photo ops—it’s such a calming, heartwarming spot 🌻. 🍴 Philadelphia Eats! Butcher & Singer: A classic, old-school Western restaurant with such a nice atmosphere. None of the dishes were a letdown—everything tasted amazing! 🥩 Also, shoutout to the delicious breakfast at the Hyatt hotel we stayed at—simple but satisfying 🍳. The rest of the time, I met up with a friend in Philadelphia and visited UPenn. I even snuck in a peek at the Wharton School—total "awe moment" being there 🎓. Philadelphia’s weather was perfect too—always sunny or partly cloudy with comfortable temperatures. Such a great place, totally loved it 😋! #Philadelphia #PhiladelphiaTravel #USATravel #PhiladelphiaTravelGuide #USATravelGuide #Pennsylvania #PhiladelphiaLife #PhiladelphiaFood
