Philadelphia New Spot|Simple Ingredients, Outstanding Flavors 🔥
While strolling through Fishtown Citywalk, I stumbled upon this Chinese fusion restaurant. At first, I was just drawn in by the radish-shaped dessert in the window, but the dishes inside totally blew me away! Feels like this place is about to blow up 🔥 — better hurry while it’s still low-key! We randomly ordered three dishes + one appetizer, and every single one impressed 👏! Highlights: the 🌟 Black Truffle Beef Cubes and 🌟 Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs (Forbidden Rib) — you have to try these! ✨ Black Truffle Beef Cubes As soon as it arrived, the aroma of black truffle had us hooked — even before the first bite. The beef cubes were tender and well-marbled, not greasy at all. Freshly shaved truffle slices sprinkled on top released an earthy, creamy fragrance with the heat. Rich but never overpowering — the kind of dish you just can’t stop eating. ✨ Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs (Forbidden Rib) The sweet & sour sauce was spot-on — tangy, balanced, and totally Shanghainese-style. The ribs were braised until fall-off-the-bone tender. The crushed pistachios on top were a delightful surprise, adding a nice crunch to this homey classic. ✨ Red Curry Duck One standout touch: three whole fresh lychees 🍑! Bite into them and sweet juice bursts in your mouth. The curry was aromatic and mildly spicy, not overwhelming. The lychee’s sweetness paired perfectly with the curry’s gentle heat — balanced and never cloying. The duck was incredibly tender, soaking up both curry and lychee flavors — each bite was sweet, savory, and slightly spicy with wonderful layers. The ambiance is refined too — mood lighting, nice tableware, comfy seating, and pleasant background music. 👀 Next visit, I’m definitely trying their Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Wings! The golden crispy ones at the next table had me staring as soon as they arrived 😍. 🌟 Mana Modern Chinese #OverseasFoodGuide #GlobalFoodReviewer #Foodie #PhillyFood #BackToSchool #NYCLife
