Philadelphia Old City French Food Review | Royal Boucherie 🇫🇷✨

Last weekend, after exploring Old City with a friend, we stopped by this charming French bistro — Royal Boucherie! It’s a small, elegant spot with perfect Parisian vibes — ideal for a casual catch-up or a date night 🍷✨. 💡 We tried four classic French dishes: 🥣 Onion Soup Gratinée French onion soup with a thick, stretchy cheese layer! Rich broth with perfectly caramelized onions, served with crispy bread — so satisfying! 🐌 Escargot à l’ail Noir Snails in black garlic butter — my first time trying the black garlic version. Less pungent, slightly sweet, and the snails were tender. Paired wonderfully with crispy bread slices. 🥩 Steak Frites Classic steak & fries. The steak was cooked perfectly — seared outside, juicy inside. Fries were crispy, sauce was tasty. A bit pricey, but good if you’re craving a proper main. 🍔 Burger French-style burger — thick, juicy patty with simple but well-balanced toppings. Soft bun, great texture. Better value than the steak! 📍 Royal Boucherie 🏡 52 S 2nd St, Philadelphia, PA 💰 Around $50–70 per person (depending on what you order) ⭐ Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (Great for authentic French flavors in a relaxed setting) Overall, amazing ambiance and solid food — perfect for enjoying French cuisine without too much formality! If you love French food, give it a try 😋. #Philadelphia #HiddenGem #VibeDining #PhillyEats #FrenchBistro 🥐🍷
