Philadelphia Restaurant Week|Fork — A Full Menu Adventure 🍽️

Tried Fork’s $60 Restaurant Week menu in Philly! TL;DR: Surprising, delicious, thoughtful… but desserts fell short 😅 🍃 Starters Our favorite was the veal sweetbread—lightly fried, no offal taste, perfectly cooked, like a gourmet nugget 😂 I also loved the fluke crudo—fresh fish paired beautifully with Asian pear and a well-balanced sauce. 🐟 Entrées ➕ Whole Trout (+$25) – Just okay. Felt a bit overdone with kale, olives, and too many spices—classic Mediterranean but too crowded in flavor. ❤️ Sorpresine Pasta – The pasta’s name means “little surprise” because it looks like it should be stuffed, but the magic is in the surrounding sauce! Paired wonderfully with squid 🐙 The bread from sister spot High Street was also a highlight 🍞 🍖 Roasted Lamb – Cooked to a lovely pink, well-seasoned and tender. 🍮 Desserts – All three were just fine… some too sweet (though the chocolate cremeaux might be intended that way), others too tart. #PhillyEats #RestaurantWeek #ForkPhilly #FoodReview #StudentEats #EastCoastDining 🥂
