Am I late to the game? Somehow never tried the classic Texas Roadhouse until now — and wow, it really lives up to its “value king” reputation! Unlike typical steakhouses, the vibe here is pure Texas — star decor, animal motifs everywhere, and super friendly, energetic service. You can even choose to sit at high tables. Glanced at the menu and immediately locked in the best deal: 🍖 20oz bone-in Ribeye + 16oz Sirloin (medium rare, please). For starters, we got: 🌶️ Two cups of chili (my favorite — so much beefy goodness) 🥗 House salad 🍠 Sweet potato (a whole roasted sweet potato — huge and naturally sweet, possibly the best I’ve had in the U.S.) Our server was amazing — saw we finished the complimentary rolls and brought more right away with that cinnamon butter — soft, fragrant, irresistible! Now, the steak — fresh, juicy, simply seasoned with just salt and pepper. When the meat is this good and cooked right, that’s all you need. 💰 Total for two (before tip): under $60 including tax.
