We were seated promptly. It took the waitress 10 minutes to come back to get our drink order. When we gave her our drink order, we asked for peanuts and she said sure no problem. Never came back with them, but our drinks back in about 10 minutes and I said again, can we have some peanuts? And she said oh sure. And never brought them back came back about 10 or so minutes later asking us if we want to start with appetizers and we said no we know we order but we still want some peanuts. Oh sure let me go get them never brought them came back and took our order and she said is there Anything else I can get you while you’re waiting for your food to come out I said yes peanuts. Never brought them out. I ordered a small cup of chili as a side for my meal. We did not order appetizers. Two small cups of chili came out and said here are your chilies. We did not order an appetizer chili. I ordered it with my meal so I can put it On my baked potato with my steak. I ordered 11 ounce sirloin maybe. Medium with a baked potato and a cup of chili and it came out well done and charred on one side, two humongous pieces of grizzle almost fat in my chili the size of nickels. My husband’s T-bone came out like the horns were ripped off the cow and they threw the steak on the plate bleeding. We know better to send food Back as I worked in restaurants and I know it is not well received. She came back to ask us if we needed anything and if we wanted her to take anything off the table, I said yes, the bread basket and the empty peanut bucket that sitting here, since we never got any peanuts. She said ok. No, oh my God, I forgot your peanuts for the third time. Came back to check on us and ask us if we wanted boxes. We said just the check. She was quick with that. There was a co iPad next to us that no one stopped them from playing videos or music on their phone so loud that we could actually hear it to the point of my husband turning his head about four times to give them the hint. Over all, not a pleasant experience. The time before this, the floor was so filthy where its carpeted, that they were wiping tables down and just seating people. Really, owners should be on site, if they can’t trust their managers to run the restaurant properly, hate to say, it’ll be a long time before we consider coming back. I know that doesn’t matter to a million dollar business,...
Read moreWe drove from NJ 30 minutes to get here to celebrate a birthday dinner because a family member had recommended it but it was worth the drive. Arrived at approx 6:30pm. The restaurant is huge inside and can seat lots of people. The ambiance is pretty cool - unique things hanging from everywhere. They give discounts to veterans and on Thursdays you can get 20% off if you're a nurse, things like that. They are community-aware. The wait was so big, people were waiting outside but we still got sat within 10 minutes of arriving despite being a party of 8. As they were seating us, they walked us past a refridgerator holding steaks and asked if any of us wanted to personally select our steak for the meal. The server came right over and did her job and was effective and efficient. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is fantastic and they boast about most of it, if not all, being homemade. The appetizers were yummy and they have a buttered bread that comes with a cinnamon flavored spread that they give you plenty of if you want more. The food order came fast despite the restaurant being packed to capacity and us having a large party. No mistakes made on anyones order and the food was absolutely delicious. They came over and did a whole Texas yee haw thing with a saddle for my son's birthday and the whole restaurant was clapping along and he wasn't embarrassed by some corny song. They don't do it in a corny way and the waiters and waitresses really get into it. We had a great experience overall and I will be going back very soon. When we left, the line was still out the door, so they must have good food or else people wouldn't flock there like that! Great experience, great food, unique takes on menu items, only a few similar choices on the menu to Outback Steakhouse like their version of a Bloomin' Onion but they have all kinds of unique foods that you can order like fried pickles for example. They have a great menu and no matter what you like, there's something there you will love and something you've never had before. You're gonna spend a bit of money here but the experience, atmosphere, food and wait staff make it well worth it. Great restaurant! I've never given a restaurant 5 stars before all across the board -...
Read moreI don't even know where to begin, my fiancé and I were getting dinner and as we were putting in our order the family next to us threw up over their entire table, the seat, and the floor. The staff at Texas roadhouse were emotionally unprepared for this, and had great difficulty cleaning it up, including audibly and loudly gagging to the point I thought someone on their staff was going to throw up. Four other severs came to try and clean it up, but either gagged, cried, or were yelling ew and exclaiming their disgust. This was embarrassing and extremely uncomfortable to sit through, until finally one bus boy and one server cleaned up the entire thing alone. The managers were useless and no one came to check on us or the entire area. Instead, there was a waitress serving tables behind us, telling them what occurred if they hadn't noticed and made it into a joke saying "you all got a show tonight". Again, if a manager had come by they probably would have heard this woman/waitress because she said this over and over to every other table in the section, making the dining experience even worse.
I get this is a disgusting situation, and the staff definitely doesn't get paid enough for this, but as a customer, the fact we weren't offered a discount or to be moved to a new area was a joke. I wish the health inspector was there tonight, because even though it was cleaned up quickly, it definitely wasn't sterilized. It was a shame because we never go there and was looking forward to the meal, but it was ruined not because a family threw up, but because of the emotional incompetence of the staff and their rude, insensitive reaction/remarks. Shout out to the staff that cleaned it up without a word, or reaction you are good people who understand things happen and you did your best. Never going back, and you shouldn't go there either because god knows what happened before...
