Philly Food | Uyghur Lagman House

Nawat Tea 💰5.99 A regular tea paired with three uniquely shaped crystal sugar sticks. The tea is not astringent and has a slight sweetness. The kids even put the sugar sticks directly in their mouths. Cold Bean Jelly 💰9.99 At first, I thought it was liangpi (cold skin noodles), but upon seeing the dish, I realized it was liangfen (mung bean jelly). It comes with shredded cucumber and cilantro, and the seasoning is sour and spicy, leaning more towards sour. Dumpling 💰13.99 Small bite-sized dumplings filled with beef, onion, and cumin, with a slight spiciness. Surprisingly, the kids ate them all! The thin wrapper and flavorful filling make them delicious and addictive. Homestyle Lagman (s) 💰9.99 This is a spicy noodle dish. The noodles are hand-rolled and have a good chewiness. The toppings include onions, green and red bell peppers, wood ear mushrooms, and bok choy. The beef is marinated and tasty on its own. I couldn't finish it all and took some home to add more noodles and make another meal. Samsa 💰3.99 Beef and cumin flavored with a crispy exterior and a sweet sauce. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it. Uyghur Polo 💰14.99 Hand-pulled rice! I've heard so much about it and finally tried it today. My family usually avoids lamb except for lamb chops, but I wanted to taste this dish. The rice has a sweet flavor, probably because it's mixed with carrots and raisins. The rice is moist overall. I took a small bite of the lamb and was surprised—it wasn't gamey at all! #Philly #PhillyFood #PhillySurroundings
