The customer service is terrible! I called Lunch Time half an hour before my expected arrival and wanted to pre-order lagman. I knew about the bad experience of many customers that they waited for about an hour for their food. Are you serious?! On a working day during working hours for a short period of time during lunch time to wait an hour for your lunch to be brought?! People have a maximum of 30-45 minutes and you cook food for an hour? To avoid this and not wait, I called and wanted to preorder in advance and when I arrived, my food would be ready and I would immediately eat and go to work. But an absolutely rude male voice very irritably shouted that he would not accept a pre-order for dine-in and that for this I must arrive and only after that they will accept my order. After these words, he just hung up. Now I understand those who rated 1. The main tragedy of this restaurant is unprofessionalism and rudeness! If your staff is rude, no matter how delicious your food is, it will not compensate for your stupidity. When I was inside the restaurant, the owner of the business seemed kind and polite. I want to address him: fire all your rude employees and hire new ones. Be inside the restaurant at all times and personally control all processes. By the way, the food is also so-so. The special lagman was very tough and not fully cooked. The cabbage is cut very large and roughly. And you are cooking this whole misunderstanding called lagman for so long? The restaurant design is more like a hospital ward. You guys are poorly prepared for the opening of your restaurant. You need a good manager.

I spent two years teaching English in Aksu and three years teaching English in Ghulja (right up until the government there decided they didn't want any foreign witnesses to what was happening)... I miss it so much.

When I heard there's finally a Uyghur restaurant in Philly, we drove an hour from the other side of the metro area just to try it... And we were NOT disappointed!

I'm very picky about toxu qorumisi / dapanji / "big plate chicken" because everyone makes it different and it's hard to find a really good one even over there... But the one here is VERY! It reminds me of my favorite restaurant in Ghulja! The only part that's a little off is that the noodles served with it are pulled a little too thin for my liking, whereas dapanji that I'm familiar with is served with wide, thick, "belt noodles," which is one my favorite parts of the experience, but that's a minor discrepancy. You can be assured that the noodles here are really hand-pulled which makes all the difference. And the portion sizes are very generous!

We also ordered lempeng, which was very good, too!

Yeyishlik (delicious)! It's definitely worth the trip for me and I look forward to returning again. I hope lots of other people enjoy it as well! Rehmet, Uyghur...

I came to Uyghur Lagman House with high expectations, but I am extremely disappointed after the experience. We arrived at 6:00 PM, and the front desk told us it would take an hour for the food to be served. We agreed and patiently waited. However, by 7:30, none of our food had arrived, not even the tea! What was even more frustrating was that some customers who arrived after us received their food promptly, especially the large tables. The front desk explained that some customers had pre-ordered by phone. But I overheard that one table, in fact, arrived after us and placed their order only when they sat down, yet their food arrived very quickly. By the time they were almost done eating, our food still hadn't arrived.

I understand that the restaurant is newly opened, and the staff and owner may lack experience, but what bothered me the most was that when the owner and staff saw our table with nothing on it, they didn’t even bother to check on us. Instead, they only attended to their regular customers or the large tables. I’m very disappointed by the treatment we received at this restaurant, and I would not recommend...
