Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden Check-In 🌡

The Desert Botanical Garden is conveniently located near Papago Park. I highly recommend purchasing tickets online in advance; we found out the hard way that buying on-site can cost an extra $10-$20 per person! πŸ’Έ Inside, there's a stunning variety of cacti 🌡 β€” it almost feels like you're in a scene from a movie! The orchid exhibit was particularly beautiful, with vibrant and delicate flowers on display. We skipped the butterfly exhibit due to the long lines, but I heard it's worth the wait. Keep an eye out for Gamble’s Quail, a quirky-looking bird that adds a touch of humor to the garden. 🐀 The gift shop had a decent selection, though I was disappointed not to find any unique fridge magnets. However, the tiny cactus fridge magnet was a charming find, even if it was a bit pricey at $15. I debated whether it was worth bringing back to Canada, but I heard they also sell them at the airport. πŸ›’ When I visited, the garden was only open until noon on weekends, but I just checked and they've updated their hours to 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. I suggest going in the evening to avoid the harsh sun. πŸŒ‡ Next time I'm in Phoenix, I definitely want to try the self-driving taxis β€” they're everywhere on the roads! πŸš– #CactusLove #Phoenix #DesertGarden #TravelTips #NatureLovers
