🏖️ Stepping into the Caribbean town from Love in the Time of Cholera – this famous resort blends colonial charm with tropical island vibes. The pastel-colored buildings seem to whisper stories of forbidden love and tropical fevers. 📖 Having just finished Márquez's Until August, I arrived in this seaside city where he spent countless days writing. At that very café, in that familiar seat, I sipped coffee and browsed books for hours (their carrot cake was divine too!). The wooden tables still bear ink stains from decades of writers chasing inspiration. 🌇 Cartagena surprised us – what began as a cloudy day turned magical at dusk. By the beach baths, the skies cleared for my first Caribbean sunset, a dream finally fulfilled.
