Just a 7-minute walk from the TCL Chinese Theatre on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Pink Pepper is a lovely Thai spot with great prices and flavors perfect for the Asian palate. Highly recommend! π π₯ Thai Egg Roll Very similar to Chinese spring rolls β crispy and golden, served with sweet chili sauce for dipping. A crunchy, satisfying start! π₯£ Tom Yum Koong (Shrimp) We ordered the clear version (without coconut milk), light and refreshing with mushrooms and shrimp. We went for Medium spice β just a little kick that warms you right up! π₯΅πΆοΈ Perfect for those chilly LA evenings when the sun goes down and the temperature drops. A cozy, comforting bowl of happiness! π Khao Sai β Beef Short Rib The star of the meal! π The beef short rib on top was huge, slow-braised until fall-apart tender. The noodles soaked up all that rich, flavorful broth β and they give you two textures: one soft from simmering in the soup, and one slightly firmer like an instant noodle cake. So satisfying! We wanted to try so much more, but just these three dishes were enough to fill us up! For a place in such a touristy area, the prices are really reasonable β a refreshing change from the usual $50+ per person meals in LA that donβt always hit the spot. πΈβ€οΈ We originally planned to go to another Thai spot nearby, but it was closed.
