Plano's Hidden Gem: A Self- Roasting Coffee Shop

I stumbled upon this self-roasting coffee shop next to 75. Although the space inside is a bit small, the owner is incredibly warm-hearted ❤️. As soon as we entered, he invited us to smell their coffee beans and introduced them with great care! The barista also chatted with customers like we were at a neighborhood noodle shop! ☕️All the coffee beans here come from South America and are super fragrant! Each package has a roast date on the bottom, so you know exactly how fresh the beans are. Thanks to the owner's hospitality, I bought a mix of espresso beans and some for cold brew. I haven't tried the espresso beans yet, but the cold brew beans have a slight acidity that pairs perfectly with milk, making it really delicious. I'll definitely try other beans next time! The barista, noticing I seemed interested, gave me a little lesson on coffee roasting. He talked about where they source their beans, the roasting machine and its principles, and gave a simple introduction to the origins of coffee flavors. 🥳🥳🥳 What a delightful afternoon! I learned so much about coffee! If you're ever near 75 and Park, do stop by for a cup of coffee! 📍Coffee Del Rey 1915 Central Expy #340, Plano, TX 75075 #MyCoffeeDiary #DallasCoffeeShop #DallasLife #NorthAmericanLife #NorthAmericanCoffee
