Plog | A Day Trip to Buffalo, NY

Plog | A Day Trip to Buffalo, NY 🦮 It usually takes about three hours to drive from Toronto to Buffalo without traffic, but since we got a late start, we ended up stuck in heavy congestion for almost five hours before finally arriving. 🚗⏳ We crossed into the U.S. via the Rainbow Bridge 🌈 and returned to Canada via the Peace Bridge — a smooth and scenic border-hopping loop! 🚙🇺🇸➡️🇨🇦 📍 Buffalo City Hall The area was surprisingly quiet, making it easy to capture clean, crowd-free shots. Unfortunately, since we visited on Labor Day, the building was closed, so we couldn’t go up to the observation deck — but the exterior alone was impressive! 📸🏛️ 📍 Theater District We stopped for a quick photo at the iconic Shea’s Buffalo Theatre sign. Right across the way, there’s a stunning church with gorgeous architecture — definitely worth a look! 🎭⛪ 📍 Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House Tucked into a lovely residential neighborhood, this architectural gem is beautiful even from the outside. You can also book an indoor tour if you’re interested in Wright’s design philosophy. 🏡✨ 📍 Dinosaur Bar-B-Que A highlight of the trip! The beef brisket was incredibly tender and flavorful — even my very picky boyfriend couldn’t stop raving about it. I also loved the Deviled Eggs — savory, slightly spicy, and totally addictive! 🍖🔥🥚 📍 Trader Joe’s We made a snack stop here on our way back and instantly regretted not buying more! Everything we tried was delicious — no disappointments at all. 🛒😋 We had to skip the AKG Art Museum this time since dogs aren’t allowed inside — but that just gives us another reason to come back! 🐶❤️🖼️ All in all, a packed but wonderful day exploring Buffalo with my pup by my side. Until next time! 👋🌆 #TravelPlog#TravelWithMyDog#AdventureBuddy#BuffaloNY#DayTripDiary#USRoadTrip#FoodAndArchitecture#PuppyApprovedTravel#ExploreNewYork#TravelMemories
