Poo Poo Point Will Teach a Lesson to Anyone Who Underestimates It

I’ve always heard from friends that Poo Poo Point was a piece of cake, so I never bothered to go. Today, I got a serious wake-up call. It’s not exactly easy; it felt like a 75% incline all the way. There are stone steps, regular dirt paths, and just when you think you’re at the top, it throws another surprise at you 😂. Personally, I think this trail makes Rattlesnake, Snow Lake, and Lake 22 seem like child’s play. But the upside is that it’s not too long; you can probably reach the summit in about an hour, and it’s beautiful! You can see all sorts of paragliders 🪂 and Mt. Rainier 😁 It might be a bit strenuous for the elderly, as the descent is quite steep, so safety first. There were quite a few kids, too. I also saw people with dogs; smaller breeds might struggle a bit, as there are some steps that require a bit of a jump… But the view from the top is so stunning, it’s totally worth the hike! #Hiking #Seattle #SeattleSurroundings #OutdoorHiking #Pokemon #Blastoise
