First time guiding clients on a rainy day tour β. Originally planned to find travel buddies in Cape Town, but everyone flaked! π€ Ended up using our own "South Africa Bunny" car π°π. Day 0: β’ Picked up clients at Cape Town International Airport βοΈ β’ Dropped them at hotel π¨ β’ Evening drive around Sea Point π & Bo-Kaap colorful houses π (in pouring rain!) β’ Grocery run at Tops Spar π where we met a lovely lady grilling steaks - so friendly! π₯©π©πΎβπ³ Rainy Day Adventures: βοΈ Morning: β’ Table Mountain & Signal Hill = complete fog-out π«οΈπ β’ Simon's Town penguins π§ β closed due to monsoon-level rain! But saw 2 wild penguins playing on rocks π π Afternoon: β’ Cape of Good Hope (R400/~$21) - EMPTY!
