Portland's must-try: Tokyo Sando food truck!

It’s located in a large open-air food cart pod, surrounded by all kinds of food trucks with outdoor seating in the middle. When we arrived and took a look around, the one with the longest line and the liveliest atmosphere was definitely this one — totally living up to the hype! We ordered the three most popular items: Miso Katsu Naka Sando Tokyo Gyoza Scotch Egg The miso pork cutlet sandwich was absolutely delicious — loaded with sauce and full of flavorful layers 😋 The portion was super generous too; I was almost full after just half. Definitely worth it. At first, I saw some dark spots on the bread and thought they were burnt, but it turns out — it’s their special black garlic! 🧄 It tasted slightly sweet and unique, pairing surprisingly well with the crispy fried pork cutlet. Just a heads-up though — they don’t provide utensils! And with so much sauce, it can easily drip while eating ~ It’s best to eat it with your hands. Afterward, you can wash up at the nearby restroom, or bring your own wet wipes to make things easier 👍 Not only are the sandwiches hearty, the bread soft, and the meat juicy — they’re also really photogenic 📸 If you come to Portland, I highly recommend planning a meal here! Even eating with your hands is completely worth it ~ 🤲 #PortlandFood #FoodTruckRecommendation #SandwichLove #TravelDiary #FoodieLife #DeliciousFood #FoodExploring
