Portland | Food | 70+ Year-Old Steak Legend—The Ultimate Steakhouse 🥩

This steakhouse, in business for over 70 years, has even designed its menu to look like a steak! It offers more size options than most steakhouses—for example, filet mignon (a rare find) comes in sizes from 6 oz to 24 oz… The filet mignon in Pics 1 & 2 is only 8 oz, but the cut is surprisingly thick. When cooked, the outer layer is crispy, while the inside is medium well—super tender and juicy! 🥩 🍄 Beyond classic appetizers like fried mushrooms and calamari, they also serve fried chicken liver and gizzards—rare for a steakhouse! But their cooking is spot-on: the liver and gizzards are just done, so they’re incredibly tender. Even better, appetizers come in three portion sizes (quarter, half, full size)—foodies with small appetites won’t have to worry about wasting food here~ 🥒 There are also free pre-meal snacks: pickles, canned veggies with sour cream, and steaming-hot fresh sourdough served with garlic butter & regular butter~ All of these are free to refill! 🍹 The only downside: if you don’t drink alcohol, your options are limited to orange juice, lemonade, and Pepsi-series sodas—they don’t even have apple juice!
