Portland | Lechon
Today I tried Argentine cuisine at Lechon! This highly-rated restaurant definitely lived up to its reputation! π₯° The moment I stepped in, the large aquarium caught my eye β so calming to watch the colorful fish swimming in blue water. π We started with Shrimp Ceviche π¦ The Mexican-style marinade was tangy and refreshing! Served with crispy tortilla chips β each bite was irresistible. The portion was generous enough to almost make a meal by itself! π The Brisket Empanadas arrived piping hot~ π₯ Flaky pastry wrapped around incredibly tender braised beef. The cheese sauce was a bit rich though, better to use it sparingly! π For the main, Flank Steak cooked medium rare π₯© Cut open to reveal a perfect pink interior! Juicy and tender, with a chili sauce that added flavor without any real heat β great for those who avoid spice. π― The biggest surprise was the Smoked Duck Breast! π Expected it to be dry, but it was remarkably tender. Well-balanced smokiness, and the pan-fried mushrooms soaked up all the delicious juices. π Left feeling completely satisfied! Each dish had its own charm, and the ambiance was lovely. Will definitely return! π Highly recommended for South American food lovers! #GemRestaurant #ComingBack#Portland
