Portland Autumn Colors | Silver Falls 🍂 at Peak Beauty!

Today, I visited Silver Falls State Park, and the autumn leaves are just at their peak! 🍁 It's October 30, 2025, with clear skies and comfortable temperatures—perfect for hiking and photography. I walked the Trail of Ten Falls, a short trail that offers great value, with stunning views at every turn. 😊 This trail is especially beautiful in autumn; my summer visit didn't leave a deep impression, but the fall colors make everything magical. 🍂 You'll encounter waterfalls frequently along the way. The Short Loop takes about two hours, and with photos and breaks, half a day is just right. 📸 The sound of waterfalls accompanied my steps, feeling like a cleanse for the soul. The biggest surprise was being able to walk behind the waterfalls! Figure 2 is North Fall, just a ten-minute walk from the parking lot, where you can sit on a bench behind the waterfall and quietly watch the water cascade down. 💺 I think North Fall is even more beautiful than South Fall, with water droplets sparkling in the sunlight like tiny diamonds. ✨ Along the path, there are many cute little mushrooms, 🍄 hiding among the fallen leaves, adding a touch of whimsy. I also loved watching the leaves fall from the trees, each one dancing in arcs through the air, as if nature were performing an elegant ballet. 🩰 Parking fees have increased to $12, but if you visit often, an annual pass is only $30, which is a better deal.
