Portland Brunch Experience: Mother’s Bistro & Bar 🌟
It was my first time visiting Portland, Oregon, and friends took us to this popular brunch spot. As soon as we entered, we were impressed by its beautiful, spacious interior with plenty of seating and classic European-style decor—so cozy!✨ The restaurant has won many awards and gets great reviews online. We visited on a weekday at noon and were lucky to get a table without waiting! 😊 Our group of three ordered different brunch dishes to share: 🍳 Tofu Hash - $19 Loaded with tofu, onions, tomatoes, potatoes, spinach, and mushrooms—so nutritious! Surprisingly delicious despite all the ingredients being cooked together, seasoned just right. Comes with toasted bread, though eggs cost an extra $2.5 each.~ 🐟 Wild Salmon Hash - $21 Salmon and potato cubes seem to be pan-fried in butter, giving off a unique aroma. Served with toasted bread and two eggs. The bread paired with butter and homemade strawberry jam was amazing! 🍓 🍞 Crunchy Challah French Toast - $12 This one was special—French toast coated with cornflakes, giving it a crispy texture different from the usual version. Topped with butter and plenty of maple syrup, perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth! 😋 Overall, the food here isn’t fancy or stunning in presentation, but it has a simple, honest deliciousness with solid ingredients. Maybe for locals, it really does taste like home cooking! 💖 #PortlandFood #BrunchRecommendation #TravelDiary #USWestCoast #FoodShare #RestaurantExperience #EverydayJoy
