Portland Food | Wood-Fired Pizza 🍕

Finally, a sunny weekend is here! For people in the Pacific Northwest, that means making the most of the day. We came to check out Ken's Artisan Pizza 📍304 SE 28th Ave 📍1033 NW Bond St (New location in Bend) I’ve been wanting to visit for the past two years, but the thought of waiting in line for an hour with a kid always made me choose other restaurants instead. Luckily, this weekend was sunny and not too cold, so we arrived at 4:10 PM. There were already two guys in line, and more people started showing up soon after. I overheard others in line saying, "If you arrive at 5 PM, you’ll have to wait for three hours…" 🥬 Caesar Salad The dressing was light and refreshing, and the romaine lettuce was incredibly fresh. So delicious! 🥫 Meatball These meatballs are a mix of pork and beef, four to a serving. They were springy and juicy, and paired with a tangy sauce, they were so appetizing. The kids loved them and ate two! 🦑 Calamari My husband and I absolutely love this appetizer. The tender grilled squid, paired with a spicy and sour sauce, was amazing!! We finished it in five minutes—definitely going to try recreating this at home.. 🍕 Margherita Pizza Artisan pizza crust is different from regular pizza. It’s made with slow fermentation, giving it a richer flavor. The sauce is freshly made daily (not from a can). The ingredients are thoughtfully paired, and you can taste the exceptional quality. 🍄 Mushroom Pizza I absolutely love mushroom pizza—one bite and I’m in heaven. The mushrooms were crispy with a meaty texture, but not as heavy as actual meat 💯 The cheese was incredibly fragrant (I’m reminiscing as I type this…). Looking at the menu, there are over 🔟 types of pizza to choose from. I’m already eyeing the one with pistachio sauce and salty ham for next time… ❤️ Another place I really like is the rising star Grana (currently PDX No. 2). In my opinion, it’s just as good as Ken, and there’s no wait! #WoodFiredPizza #PortlandFood #PortlandFoodScene #PortlandMustEat #LifeInNorthAmerica #Pizza #CheeseLover #Dinner #WhatToEatForDinner #ShareLocalFood
