Portland Korean BBQ Buffet - K Town š°š·
Thereās a brand-new Korean BBQ spot in Beavertonāand itās already turning heads for group meals! K Town gives you two great choices: order Ć la carte, or go all in with their all-you-can-eat buffet āØ. The buffet has two tiers: $31.99 and $34.99. The $34.99 option lets you dig into more premium meats, so itās a no-brainer if you love trying different cuts š„©! I visited with 4 friends for a fun dinner get-together, and letās just sayāthis place is a steal for big groups š. We ended up going through five whole rounds of food! But hereās the catch: the food came out super slowlyāwe had to wait a bit between orders, which tested our patience just a little ā³. Another thing to note: you can only order 4 meat items at a time (though veggies are totally unlimitedāscore for anyone who loves fresh sides š„¬!), and you have 2 hours to place all your orders. Once that timeās up, no more adding to the table ā°! Now, letās talk about the meats: the marinated ones were the real stars š. They had bright, balanced flavorsānothing too heavy, so we found ourselves going back for more again and again šÆ. The non-marinated cuts, though? They were a bit underwhelming. They didnāt have that rich, deep taste you get at super authentic Korean BBQ joints, and the meat quality just wasnāt quite the same š¤. We were on a mission, so we tried every single beef option (total meat lover move š„³!) and all the seafood tooāthink plump shrimp and tender squid š¦. Funny enough, they even brought out chicken for usāwe didnāt order it, but it was a nice little surprise š! For pork, we picked a few of our go-tos, but some meats were hard to tell apart: aside from the lamb (which was pretty gamey, so fair warning š), the beef tongue (you could tell it was tongue from the chewy texture š®), and the beef short ribs (super juicy and recognizable š¦“), most other cuts tasted a bit similar. With 34 meat options total, thereās no way youāll leave hungry š¤¤. The marinated meats are total safe picksāyou canāt go wrong with them! The plain, unmarinated ones are just āokayā if youāre not too picky about bold flavors š. We also paired our meats with classic banchan: crisp kimchi š„¢, tangy pickled radishes, and creamy potato saladāall fresh and tasty! All in all, this spot is perfect for group dinners š. Itās affordable, fun, and youāll walk out with a full belly. But if youāre chasing that classic, authentic Korean BBQ tasteāyou know, the kind that makes you go āwowāāthis might not be the one for you ā.
