Portland Waterfall St & Mount Hood
Summer in Portland is beautiful ๐ธ! I originally planned to visit for the lavender ๐ฟ, but the weather wasnโt very cooperative โ๏ธ. Vista House Observation Deck offers a great viewโyou can see Washington State across the way ๐ and the Columbia River that separates the two states ๐ค. There are hop-on-hop-off waterfall tour buses ๐. If you donโt want to drive yourself, this is a good option ๐.At Latourell Falls, you can see the waterfall right from the parking lot ๐ ฟ๏ธ, or you can take a trail for an up-close look ๐ถโโ๏ธ.Shepperds Dell is also visible without hiking ๐ถ. For Bridal Veil Falls, you need to walk inโabout 1 minute to get under the waterfall โฑ๏ธ.Next to the parking sign for Horsetail Falls is the lower part of the waterfall ๐ฆ, and many people go into the water to cool off ๐.Multnomah Falls is the most famous one ๐. There are two parking lots: one costs $20 ๐ ฟ๏ธ๐ต, and the other free one requires advance reservation ๐ . The bridge in the middle is perfect for photos ๐ธ, but itโs always crowded with people ๐ฅ. The Grotto is a Catholic church โช with a prayer platform on the rock wall ๐ชจ. When I visited Hope Ranch Lavender, it was cloudy โ๏ธ, but I could still see the snow-capped mountains โฐ๏ธโyou can catch a glimpse of Mount Hood here ๐๏ธ. Trillium Lake is absolutely stunning โจ! Itโs a great spot to view Mount Hood ๐๏ธ, and you can also take your kids kayaking ๐ถโitโs so relaxing ๐. Twisted Croissant serves delicious pastries ๐ฅ, and their specialty is the cruffin ๐ฅง.Canard is pretty good ๐.Mattโs BBQ is really tasty ๐.Koi Fusion Mississippi offers a unique (and a bit weird) fusion cuisine ๐ฃ๐ฎ.Ding Tea Williams is just so-so ๐.Le Petit Cafรฉ Troutdale is in a food cart pod on the way to Mount Hood ๐โitโs quite nice ๐. #Portland
