Postcard Blind Box — Portland Edition 😊
While planning a trip to New York, I came across the postcard blind boxes at Grand Central Station. I discovered that these vending machines can be found all across the country! Portland has two locations, and one of them is Montelupo Italian Market, a place I’ve saved on my list for a long time but never visited. The designs available in the machine are shown in the first photo. I really wanted the coffee pot design, but unfortunately, I didn’t get it 😢. A quick tip: The machine only accepts quarters or cash, and credit cards cannot be used to buy quarters, so make sure to come prepared! Aside from the blind boxes, the food here is amazing! The handmade pasta is particularly impressive—tender with rich sauce. In my opinion, it’s even better than Grassa’s pasta 😋. The market also features a special Portland-made pistachio spread. It has a rich nutty flavor and a smooth texture, with no unpleasant aftertaste. Anyone who loves nut spreads will definitely adore this one! 🌟 This visit helped me discover a hidden gem, combining my love for collecting with delicious food. I highly recommend checking it out if you’re in Portland! #BlindBox #PortlandFood #HandmadePasta #PistachioSpread #MarketExplore #TravelTips #FoodRecommendation
