Prime Rib Heaven! Lawry’s Totally Blew Me Away 🤯🥩

✨ Came to town for the Blackpink concert and finally checked off my husband’s long-time wishlist spot: Lawry’s The Prime Rib in Beverly Hills! As serious steak lovers, we’ve had this iconic LA steakhouse on our list forever ✅ Lawry’s is a classic American steakhouse with 87 years of history. We reserved online in advance, and valet parking was available at the door ($12). The whole restaurant has this vintage, old-money vibe. 🏛️💼 For starters, we ordered the crab cake 🦀 —and it was incredible! Crispy on the outside, packed with tender crab meat inside, zero fishy taste, and the dipping sauce was perfect! The three of us each ordered a different thickness of prime rib: 🥩 English Cut (8oz – thinly sliced, three pieces, perfect for lighter appetites) 🥩 Lawry’s Cut (10oz – their classic cut, just the right portion) 🥩 Diamond Cut (16oz – a thick, hearty slice, great for big eaters) We recommend medium rare or medium—so tender! The thin cut practically melts in your mouth, while the thick cut is super satisfying. Paired with horseradish sauce, it’s refreshing and cuts through the richness. It’s totally different from a traditional charred steak—highly recommend trying it! Each prime rib order comes with salad, mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding (tastes like a soft bread), and horseradish sauce. We also added a side of creamed corn 🌽—SO GOOD! Creamy and flavorful, a must-order! ✨ A cool highlight: the chef rolls a silver cart to your table and carves the meat right in front of you! My husband’s first slice was a bit overdone, but the chef was super nice and immediately cut him a fresh piece 👍 One downside: we were halfway through our meal when we realized the salad and horseradish sauce hadn’t arrived. We had to remind the server, and though they fixed it quickly, it did affect the experience a bit.
