During the vacation, we took a self-driving trip to "Fairy Tale Island" — PEI (Prince Edward Island), and it was so healing! 🏡 Accommodation Recommendation: For 4 people + 1 puppy 🐶, we stayed at a homestay in downtown Charlottetown, which is not far from major attractions. 📍 Itinerary for Day 1: Departure + Victoria Lighthouse Town 🕙 Left Sydney, NS at 10 am and entered PEI via the Confederation Bridge (Canada's longest bridge). You can make a short stop at the Cape Jourimain Nature Centre before the bridge for photos. 📍 Victoria-by-the-Sea: Michael Stanley Pottery Victoria Seaport Lighthouse Museum In the evening, after checking into the Charlottetown homestay, we went to Vicinato Ristorante, an Italian restaurant, and the food was good. ——— 🌊 Day 2: Intensive Check-in Day! From the coast to Green Gables 1️⃣ Cape Turner coastline: After parking, walk through the woods to reach the viewing point. 2️⃣ Cavendish Cliffs & MacKenzies Brook (Elephant Nose Rock): The rock is shaped like an elephant's trunk, but the "trunk" has broken off. 3️⃣ Brackley Beach (red sand beach) 4️⃣ Green Gables Heritage Place: It's the inspiration for Anne of Green Gables! 5️⃣ Olde Dublin Pub in the evening: A paradise for oyster lovers 🦪! Happy Hour every day from 11:00-18:00, $1.5 per oyster, served with a drink. 6️⃣ Confederation Court Mall: Suitable for purchasing local brand products. 7️⃣ Royalty Crossing Mall, with brands like H&M and Ardene. ——— 🏙 Day 3: Leisurely city walk + return to NS 1️⃣ St. Dunstan's Basilica 2️⃣ COWS Ice Cream Shop 3️⃣ Convention Centre (seaside check-in spot) 4️⃣ Point Prim Lighthouse, the only lighthouse you can climb to the top of. 🚢 In the afternoon, took the Northumberland Ferries, which can carry private cars, pets, and passengers. The journey takes about 75 minutes. 🏖️ If you have more time, Basin Head Provincial Park (white sand beach) is recommended.
