Provence's Centennial Summer Shop: Fairytale Romance
Atelier Vime, born in 1878, is nestled in a century-old house by the Rhône River in Provence, France. The workshop primarily focuses on designing and crafting rattan home products, including lighting, furniture, mirrors, vases, and other decorative items. It also sells vintage home goods. Open to the public only from June 15th to August 31st each year. 🌿 I love the aged, mottled history and depth that this old house has accumulated over a century. 🏠 It's a bit worn and even a little broken, but with the combination of interesting soft furnishings, it exudes a lazy artistic vibe everywhere. Every cozy and soft corner feels like a scene from the fairy tales in my childhood dreams. 🌟 This is definitely a place I want to visit in the future, just like the modernist-style Villa Matel in Marseille that I shared earlier. 🏡 I wonder who is in charge of the display at this workshop showroom. They must be a very romantic person! ❤️ I remember a French friend I met while traveling. The French really have an innate sense of romance and artistic talent, even if they are researchers in the biological sciences. 🌈 One memorable moment was when we were sitting on a grassy hillside on a plateau, and an eagle 🦅 was circling above our heads. My French friend suddenly stood up, spread his arms, and spun around me several times, saying, "If I were an eagle, I would take you flying." If you have the chance, definitely check out this century-old shop! 🌻 #France #Art #Aesthetics #CentennialShop #InteriorDesign #AestheticAccumulation #FrenchDecoration #Decoration #Travel #ExploringShops
