Quebec City Exploration | Dining at the Michelin
📍 Restaurant Le Parlementaire Eating inside Quebec’s Parliament Building! Reservations required—after security, follow signs for a 5-minute walk to the restaurant. The ambiance far exceeded my expectations for a government cafeteria 😂 🍽️ Our Meal Starter: 🦐 Côte-Nord Shrimp Salad : Lightly seasoned, fresh North Coast shrimp. Tempura Zucchini Flowers : Crispy perfection! Served with ricotta and chunky pea purée (so good I devoured it all!). Main Courses: 🍜 Scallop Ink Pasta : Huge roasted scallops topped with caviar—pure bliss. (P.S. The fried cauliflower was a crispy surprise!) 🐟 Roasted Monkfish : Tender but slightly tangy, paired with quinoa. 🥩 AAA Striploin Steak : Classic medium-rare, pre-sliced with thick-cut fries (who can resist?). Desserts: Chocolate Raspberry Cake : Rich, fudgy, balanced by fresh raspberries. Cheesecake Mousse with Strawberries : Light yet decadent, with nutty crunch and berry compote. Drink: La Parlementaire Mocktail: Ordered for the name—meh, but fun anyway 😂 🌟 Final Thoughts Upscale cafeteria vibes (great for photos, but I was there for the food!). Highlights: Scallops, zucchini flowers, desserts. Unique experience: How often do you dine inside a parliament? #CanadaTravel #QuebecEats #MichelinEats #FoodieAdventure
