🍽️ Food thoughts: The shakshuka ) was well-seasoned 🍳. The baguette was tough to chew — if you like really hard bread, you might enjoy it. From the classic breakfast 🥓, the potatoes were my favorite; the rest was just okay. 💰 Price: About $40 per person. Was a bit surprised that tipping starts at 20% here. Coffee took forever ☕️, and the server asked to clear the table right after we finished. The experience wasn’t bad… but honestly, it was pretty average. 🧾 The bill had me confused — what’s this 4% “Healthy LA” charge? 😅 Turns out it’s for full-time employees’ health and medical benefits. Honestly, 4% isn’t much — why not just include it in the price instead of listing it separately? Making customers pay extra for something the business should cover feels unnecessary and kind of annoying 😂 Seems like the owner isn’t quite thinking it through 🧠. ⛲️ The little fountain outside is lovely, but the inside decor… let’s just say it’s about on par with an average cafe in Shanghai, Tokyo, or London.
