Ramen Momo: A Hidden Gem in Reykjavík🤭

I never expected to find such delicious tantanmen in Iceland! 🍜 🌶️Ramen Momo is one of the few ramen shops in Iceland. After searching the map, I only found two ramen places. The shop is located just a short walk from the city center, making it very convenient.🤩🙌🏻 The restaurant is small and cozy, seating only about eight to nine people. It's more like a fast-food spot since people eat quickly and leave. We ordered tantanmen because we were craving some spice. The broth is rich and flavorful, with a hint of peanut sauce that adds a nice depth to the dish. The minced meat is very aromatic and pairs perfectly with the noodles. My husband even finished all the broth, which is a testament to how good it was!🤣 On our first day in Iceland, we stumbled upon a fantastic ramen spot that exceeded our expectations. With a Google rating of 4.8, we decided to trust the reviews, and boy, were we glad we did! 🤡 🌶️What We Ordered: Tantanmen with Extra Toppings (Char Siu Pork) We chose the tantanmen, hoping for a spicy kick, but it turned out to be more on the rich and savory side. The broth was thick and creamy, likely due to the sesame paste.🤩🙌🏻 The char siu pork was perfectly cooked—neither fatty nor greasy, and it was incredibly delicious. The portion was quite generous, and you can even add extra noodles if you're still hungry. For two people with smaller appetites, one bowl with an extra serving of noodles should be more than enough. The price is quite reasonable for Iceland: 130per bowl. The restaurant also offers complimentary self-serve ice water. The menu is available on the last page of the images I shared. 📍 Address: Ramen Momo Tryggvagata 16, 101 Reykjavík #IcelandicFood #ReykjavikTravelTips #IcelandTravel #ReykjavikFood#Iceland #IcelandTravel #IcelandFood #Reykjavik #RestaurantRecommendation #FoodieAdventures #TravelTips
